I bet yous've pinned a few dozen inspiring photos of classroom doors in your fourth dimension. Peradventure you just haven't had time to put together your dream door what with the dozens of back-to-school meetings to attend, syllabi to write, and activities to invent. But I accept the perfect door decoration for you. All you need is about xxx or 45 minutes, and you lot can create an interactive door perfect for students of any historic period. It's a coloring page classroom door!

Chances are, you've already got a coloring book lying effectually that will accommodate your classroom. Perhaps you lot've been gifted an developed coloring book, or your kids have a dozen odd treasures at the lesser of a closet. Take hold of 1 or two and you're on your way.

STEP i

Next time you plough on Netflix, colour i or two pages from the coloring book while you lot watch.

STEP 2

Flatten out the book. Then firmly press your left paw over the left side of the book while yous carefully tear out the pages on the right side, 1 at a fourth dimension.

STEP 3

Add tape rolls to the dorsum of your chosen pages and tape them to the door in rows. Go on until you fill your door.

Footstep iv

Cut some colored paper into a border.  Record it along ane side or around the whole door, depending on the size of your coloring pages.

STEP v

Cut out letters to spell a message such as "Color" or "Color Me" and tape them on. Hang up a basket of colored pencils or place them on a small table within your room. Once your coloring book door is finished, you lot can colour as yous greet students, inviting them to join you. You tin can let students who arrive early on and early finishers work on it.
